Israel Tour is a one-month experience of Israel for all those in UK school year 11 (ages 15 and 16).
Noam UK Israel Tour offers each participant the unique opportunity to go on a journey, much more than a tour. We spend four incredible weeks experiencing all aspects of Israel. From the heights of Masada to the salty plains of the Dead Sea, from the bustle of Jerusalem to the serenity of the Negev, Israel Tour will leave each participant with memories that will last a lifetime. Noam Israel tour centres on our five branches: Zionism, Masorti Judaism, Tikkun Olam, hadracha and democracy. We encourage engagement of these in a non-coercive and open environment. The tours are run by a highly experienced and committed team of Noam madrichim. These madrichim focus not only on providing an educational and fun month in Israel but also on making sure the needs of each individual participant are met.
The activities on Israel tour include: Water hikes in Ein Gedi, climbing Mount Sfahot and watching the sun rise over Egypt, studying at the Conservative Yeshiva, spending time with Noam Israel, snorkelling in the Red Sea, camping in the Negev, visiting an Arab-Israeli co-existence centre, learning about the creation of the State of Israel at Independence Hall and davening Kabbalat Shabbat by the Kottel as well as regular innovative programmes run by the madrichim.

Seminar is an amazing step on the “ladder” of Ramah experiences – a bridge between your years as a camper and your return to camp on staff. Seminar takes you through Israel with a program that is fun and challenging – to your mind and body! You will feel “at home” on Seminar, just as you do in your own Ramah camp.
Friendship takes on new meaning as you get to know Israel together with Ramah friends. Meeting hanichim from all seven Ramah camps makes Seminar an incredible social experience.

Spend your summer with USY for a complete introduction to the land of Israel. You’ll be exposed to the history and contemporary realities of Judaism and Israel. Climb the fortress of Masada, explore the stalactite caves of Netifim, swim in the waters of the Kinneret, pray at the Kotel, and drink tea in a Bedouin tent on the sands of the Negev desert. You’ll experience these sights and sounds with new friends who share your love of the Jewish homeland.
Each co-ed group will include 40-65 USYers, led by five to seven mature professional staff members: a group leader, North American counselors, an Israeli counselor and an Israeli medic. The group leaders and staff are qualified advisors, youth directors, teachers, and rabbis of the Conservative Movement. The support staff in Israel includes a faculty of knowledgeable lecturers, talented tour guides, and other USY personnel. The staff members participate in an intensive training seminar in the United States and are also responsible for preparing educational material that is used over the course of the summer
All trips offer four-weeks traveling in Israel. We offer trips with the option of including one-week in Poland, Italy or Spain and a two-week trip to Eastern Europe/Poland.
